Many of the old buildings in St Paul are bricks made by the Twin Cities Brick Company from material from these brickyards. There are 3 waterfalls and numerous other seepage. This area is < 30m in height but has a lot of ice and possible lines. Have fun exploring; ice forms in different places each year. There are two pull-out parking areas along Lilydale Rd on the south side of he river in St Paul. Follow the obvious trails to the ice. It is also possible to park in the residential area off of 13 at the top of the park and take the trail at the top of the cliff.

This is the area with the most ice. The whole half circle gets covered with ice. There is a stream and a waterfall at the right side of the half circle that will freeze enough to climb when it's super cold; it can have some pretty cool ice formations. Follow the trail from the parking areas and take a left up the big hill where the trail then turns right. Follow the main trail until you see the big half circle of ice on your left. ~15 minute approach.
