Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Sandy, Oregon.
Far-right wall featuring mostly trad routes. There are several great bolted routes interspersed throughout the wall. The right-hand trail (from the lot facing the wall), will deliver you to the base of Exodus.
Visible from the parking lot. Routes in the middle of the wall have had their anchors moved down below the ledge that the falcons use. Please do not access that ledge above the anchors. Gets lots of sun! Not ideal in the summer, but makes a great late-morning hangout on a clear winter day. The delineation between Main Wall, to the left, is a short corner just past Arm Forces and a madrone tree and then a boulder on the right. The wall gets really undercut. The bolt line of Red Scare is the first route you come to. From Hardscrabble, you take the trail away from the wall at Red Sun Rising, follow a couple switchbacks at a big Douglas fir, then gradually return to the Shining Wall's far right side, with the first routes being the deep corner of Beginner's Luck and the bolted overhang crux of Plywood Jungle.
Some excellent and longer routes here. Center area at top of trail
