Climbing Near Randolph, Vermont

Small but interesting collection of boulder problems with a water-filled landing. Most of these problems require swimming to. Keep in mind two things when looking at the ratings: 1- these were done with no chalk or shoes, and 2 - I have little experience bouldering outdoors so these grades could very well be complete garbage. I would say there are probably 8-10 problems here...again, from my very inexperienced perspective. On a hot day, it's fun and the water is nice.  This area gets spots of sun but never enough to need sunscreen. From Bethel take Route 12 south. After 12 takes a left hand turn to split from Route 107, take your next right onto Old Rt 12 (about a 1/4 after turning off 107). From there drive another ~1/4 mile until you cross a bridge. Immediately after the bridge park on the pulloff to the right. All the bouldering is under the bridge.

The rock face on the north side of the river. Has the easiest problems and also what looks like the hardest project. After parking on the south side of the bridge, walk down along either side of the bridge. The water is about 8 feet deep under the bridge and gets shallower as you move away (more shallow on the west side). Jump on in and swim to your problem of choice!
