This area is on private land that the owner has generously given access to. Please use with respect and practice leave no trace. At the trail junction between bear mountain and the crag loop trail take the trail heading south east. After walking approximately 200ft take a climbers trail south to access the cliff.
Long known as the Crag, this area consists of a tight group of tall boulders East of Bear Mountain and the downtown area. Most of the problems are highballs. Driving up Big Rock Rd this is the obvious area of boulders to the south (your right). The area comes into view not long after passing Bison Bluff Rd. You can also approach the area from the trailhead at Merry Circle but its a 20-30 minute approach that way. Routes on the north
Medicine Park is at the east entrance of the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. This small town has been a getaway for folks since the early 1900's and has become a very popular place for fishing, biking, hiking, and swimming. There is a lot of opportunity for bouldering throughout the eastern hills of the town. From Lawton travel north on 44 and take the exit for 49 west to Medicine Park. Climbing can be accessed from Big Rock Rd and from the trailhead at Merry Circle.
