Climbing Near East Shoreham, New York

Old boulder spot that was recently brought back to life by Dan P, Matt T & Garrett Z.Shout out to Lucas C for throwing up some of the hardest lines on this boulder.While it technically is private property, I was there 2/12/22 with no issues. I spend 3 hours there in the AM brushing the lichen off the rock and climbing. At one point a state trooper came, and 30 min after a Suffolk officer came. Both times they just asked if I had any spray paint. Both officers said I was allowed to be there and allowed to be climbing that rock. They told me to enjoy the rest of my day and drove off. So take that as you will. Just be mindful and respectful if you go to climb there.Quick 10 min walk from the Split Rock parking spot.9/3/2022 the face that is right on the road is currently covered in overgrown weeds. Secluded in the woods overlooking the old power plant Access trail on north country road across from Pheasant Run

Three large boulders. The path leading to the boulders does contain ticks, recommended to bring spray (unsure if it is year round, but definitely in the warm weather). Access trail on North Country Rd. across from Pheasant Run. Follow trail until you reach a sandy path that has been cleared for power lines and turn right. Keep walking until the sandy path turns slightly left and downhill to a quite open part of the forest. One should be able to see the boulders from here.
