Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Bozeman, Montana.
Fairly large and fun artificial boulder, with some decently difficult routes on it. The surface is concrete, and the holds are sculpted into the surface. The ground surface is woodchips. The boulder is located on the Montana State University campus, just to the east of Yellowstone Hall. Please note that parking can be difficult, as you need a permit to park in the lots on campus.
A small but intriguing and fun artificial boulder located in Northern Pacific Park. The park is also known as Depot Park In Bozeman, head north on Rouse, then turn right onto Tamarack. Tamarack will turn right and become Front Street, and the boulder will be on the right after a short distance.
One of the man-made boulders in Bozeman. Mostly made of concrete, but rocks are put into the concrete to help add some interesting holds. Please be courteous of other people using the park. Bozeman Pond Park is what you'll want to enter into mapping programs. The best parking is off of S Fowler Ave to the east, you'll see a small road that leads into the park with plenty of parking. You should see a basketball court to your right as you enter. Most of the time you'll take either Huffine or Babcock to get to Fowler.
