Featured Trad, Sport, Bouldering, and other popular climbing routes and climbing areas Albany, New York.
Furthest area to left. There is a sign just past Kipu Krack labeling the end of the climbing area. Do not go past this sign as it is private property. Ian's Route and Not my Chaucer are accessed along the ledge from the Fossil Wall. All others start on the main trail. Just keep walking until you see bolts or the boundary sign.
Kind of split into two sections. Bexor and Tull Tunes at the right end, Kayah through Permian Extinction on the left. The walk between the two sections is just around a short arete. Follow the trail past the Hyphen Wall until you see the signs. Follow the steep trail up to the cliff.
A protected wide corner area between the "hyphen" - a perfectly rectangular black cave as seen from the other side of the valley, and other bulges to the west. It contains beautiful birch trees and views visible from a cluster of routes that range from 5.7 (disputable) to 5.12. Great sunset lighting from this spot. Just past the Dark Block section in Horseshoe North. Recognizable by Trylo Byte This.
