Description

The area around Stevens peak contains many different opportunities from chossy summer climbing, as well as moderate snow, and select few ice climbing areas.

Getting There

Take exit 69 off of I-90. take atlas road north, then Friday road east until you hit willow creek road. Begin at the stevens lake trailhead. In the winter there is a small plowed parking area. From there you can take many different trails up towards the main peak. Many approaches contain considerable avalanche hazard in winter months. these trails vary in length from just a few miles, up to 5.
