Description
Directly opposite the Beached Whale, across the Mountain Bike Trail and downhill a hundred feet, is the Lyons Slab, which is a couple hundred feet wide and approximately 60 feet tall (if you count the short summit rock where there are bolted anchors that allow top-roping the formation).
Getting There
Walking along the Mountain Bike Trail past the Beached Whale, turn left (west), walk downhill a hundred feet and you will come to the summit boulder that forms the top of the Lyons Slab.. The face, friction and edging routes are all located on the slab directly below the summit boulder where there are double bolt anchors to top rope the entire slab.
