Per Bryan Baumgart: a ranger for the reservoir said the whole open space area that the boulders are in was closed for restoration.

Description

Walker Ranch climbing is a lot of boulders and lumps of rock in one place. There are some sport, toprope, and trad potential 1 pitch climbs, but it is mostly bouldering. The rock is very rough but not chossy. There are a ton of possible climbs there and a lot of room for development.

Getting There

Park, then walk the Walker Ranch Loop down into the valley, and approach the giant lump of rock. There are climbs on every side of it, and if you keep going north, you see a valley of hundreds of boulders. You're there!
