WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.
RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.

Description
While Altitude houses a smaller quantity of climbs, they are high quality and of all sizes. A worthy destination to escape crowds at some of the more popular walls nearby. The wall itself faces roughly southeast and some climbs hold sun into midafternoon depending on their aspect.
Getting There
Take the Beef Basin road and park approximately 2 miles from the highway at a large dispersed camping area on the right (west) side of the road. The wall is marked by a large detached pillar that fell and slid down the scree partway. The trail does NOT head straight up toward the pillar. Rather, it heads initially southwest out of the parking and wanders on the flat for a ways before turning uphill. The trail is well marked with cairns, but not well traveled.
