Description
Multiple boulders just off Palmetto trail and along it biggest boulders have anchors some bolts newer with rings others older homemade sheet metal use good judgment not a lot of information on route names area has been gate kept
Getting There
Take Hwy 178 towards Rocky Bottom/Sassafras Mtn. from Hwy 11 a few miles up the road you will reach a sign showing access to the Palmetto trail do not park here you missed your chance for parking back down the road at paved pull off to the right with a guard rail walk up the side of the road to the trail access no more than 1,500ft up the road you will cross a creek then approach a trail kiosk hike in from here first boulder is on your left a few hundred feet into the trail the biggest are where the trail takes a 180 to the left don’t continue on palmetto trail take faint trail off the the right to the tops of the boulder tread carefully you will be at the tops of mini cliffs you will see the bolts trails will take you to the base
