Description Suggest change

The left end of Beaver Brook's lower tier is unlike the rest. In this section of wall you don't get off vertical black rock. You get light gray rock with green and pink intrusions, and it overhangs quite a bit in its modest 50 foot height. This area is the region's newest outdoor gym, The Pump Factory. Comfortable bolting, a flat open base, and no road noise make this a fantastic location for a quick rip or an all day hangout, especially in the cooler months. As with the rest of beaver brook, it's south and east facing so it gets a lot of sun, a plethora of ticks, and the bog makes for a lot of bug activity in spring.

Getting There Suggest change

Find the cairn for the approach to the main wall on the mountain bike trail. Continue on the trail for another 600 feet, passing two bridges. After the second bridge you'll see a large boulder on your right with a cairn on top. Turn right here and head uphill following the cairns directly to the cliff.
