Description Suggest change

A small Gneiss crag sitting above the town. Contains a few harder routes which can be hard to find in the valley. Rock looks a little chossy but climbs better than it looks. Likely more of a locals crag but an easy trip out of Chamonix for a little sport climbing. A lot of the harder routes are fixed and the bolts are generally close together and solid.

South facing and gets sun most of the day in fall.

Getting There Suggest change

Head towards the Parc de Merlet from Les Houches (north). Park at the second parking lot in the game park (P2). At the end of the parking lot, take an old road that heads down the hill and ends after about 100m. Follow cairns after that for about 15 minutes as the trail skirts along the hillside to the bottom of the crag. There are some fixed ropes to help out but overall not too bad at all.
