Dry Docks

Alaska > S Central Alaska > Mat-Su Valley Rock

Description

The Dry Docks might be the closest we will get to the Ali Baba cave in south central Alaska. The small cave is filled with a handful of short (~20ft) but fun sport climbs. The routes could likely be climbed as boulder problems if it weren’t for the poor landing. A pumpy low ball traverse lines the bottom of the cave.

Getting There

About 1 mile past the chickaloon boulders. The cave hides behind a nice wall of trees but is essentially roadside.
