Description
This is a new crag developed by A.M. on the Sooke Sea Cliffs meaning that there is potential for loose rock and the area a bit "adventurous" (i.e. wear a helmet).
Getting There
Park in the CRD lot at the end of pike road. Walk to the end of Pike Rd trail near the toilet and instead of going to the beach turn left on the coast trail.
Pass the gazebo, walk 5min on the trail you will go down a little cliff then walk another 2min and you will start going up for about 100m then you will be on top of the bluff: 48.33768, -123.69465.
To access the cliff: Once you are on top of the bluff keep going on the trail down. Keep an eye on your right and you will see the gully. A massive tree has fallen beside it. The gully is the cliff. Pass it and 2 big trees on your right. About 2m passed the trees the trail is hidden by Salal (brush). Two steps in the brush will take you to a perfect trail. The end of that trail is 48.337310,-123.694672.
