Description Suggest change

Along Route 1a is Green Lake Road. There are several good boulders along the road, in the clear-cut of the telephone wires, and along the railroad by the lake itself. A great area, please be respectful of private property, residents, and the area, especially when it comes to noise. There is a long history of climbing here, it would be wise to reach out to folks who have climbed in the area before claiming an FA. Some information is available in Jeremy Robichaud's "Boulder Bangor!" guide if you can find a copy.

Getting There Suggest change

Travelling south from Bangor, Drive about 3 miles south to the turnoff (on left) for Green Lake Road. The different areas can be accessed either from along this road, or all the way at the end by the railroad tracks.
