El topo PDF de 2021 indica de estacionar directamente en la "casa de los perros". Ya no hay un buen acuerdo con los dueños de esta casa. Ahora debes aparcar en la intersección donde la carretera se vuelve mas ancha, justo antes de llegar a la casa de los perros, donde hay un letrero que indica "Casa del río, propiedad privada" (ver foto). Coordenadas GPS del estacionamiento : -16.353092, -71.53527.

Algunos camiones utilizan esta intersección más para dar vuelta en U. Asegúrate de dejarles suficiente espacio (estaciona lejos de la intersección), o tu carro podría ser dañado. Si ya hay demasiados carros, por favor no aparcar ahí, que podría haber problemas de acceso en el futuro.

Sendero

Después de aparcar, pasar delante de la "casa de los perros" (ver foto). Sé amable con los dueños si los ves, pero coge un palo de madera para mantener los perros a distancia, ladran mucho pero no deberían morder. Pasar encima la barrera y sigue caminando 10 minutos hasta llegar a un cruce con un sendero que sube a la derecha con letrero "Ciclistas y atletas". Las bicicletas de montaña pueden bajar rápido por allí, así que mejor seguir por la izquierda por unos 100m, y después girar a la derecha en un sendero que sube hacia la pared (ver foto con flecha, GPS "-16.345014, -71.535111").

Acceso alternativo desde arriba

Caminata más corta, pero más difícil de encontrar y recorrido menos agradable en carro y a pie. Menos recomendable para una primera vez. El estacionamiento es el mismo que Paraisito (Fundo secreto). Luego, cruza la puerta azul (si está cerrada, pasar por la derecha) y camina hasta este punto GPS (-16.345224, -71.533712) para encontrar un sendero que baja en un barranco. Llegarás a la izquierda del sector principal.

Warning: new parking

The 2021 PDF topo indicates to park directly at "casa de los perros". There is no longer a good agreement with the owners of this house. You should now park at the intersection where the road widens, just before arriving to casa de los perros, where there is a sign indicating "Casa del rio, propriedad privada" (see photo). Parking GPS coordinates: -16.353092, -71.53527.

Some trucks use this wider intersection to make u-turns. Make sure to leave plenty of place for them to do so (park away from the intersection), or your car could get damaged. If there is already too many cars, refrain from parking there or there could be access issues.

Path

After the parking, walk past the "case de los perros" (see photo). Be nice with the owners if you see them, but pick a wood stick to keep the dogs at a distance, they bark a lot but shouldn't bite. Cross the fence an keep walking 10 minutes. At one point you will see an intersection with a path going up, with a sign "Ciclistas y atletas". Mountain bikes might come down fast there, so refrain from using it. Keep left for about 100m, then take a right at the path that goes up to the crag (see photo with arrow, GPS "-16.345014, -71.535111").

Alternative access from the top

Shorter walk, but more difficult to find and less enjoyable drive and hike. Less recommended for a first time. Parking is the same as Fundo secreto (Paraisito) crag. Then, cross the blue gate (if it's closed, go around it on the right) and walk to this GPS point (-16.345224, -71.533712) to find a path that will get you down through a gully. You will arrive at the left of the sector principal.
