Description

The Hylands is tucked away off the ridge trail and is a great spot to spend a few hours bouldering. There is one large rock feature that has a small cave underneath it and an overhang to the right. A smaller boulder is next to the overhang and is a great warmup spot. This spot is the closest bouldering we saw to the parking lot.

Getting There

Starting at the old rag parking lot near the ranger station walk 1.75mi up the ridge trail. The bouldering area will be on your right about 50 yards off the trail and should be slightly visible through the vegetation.
