Cabo Frailes Bouldering

Bouldering along the beach. Hot, salty and beautiful. A mix of Oreo ice cream white Granite  and Bishop style hard granite. There is also great snorkeling right after.

While I couldn’t access it- there appear to some king lines further along the point in the area I’m calling “Aquarium of the World”. Getting there requires some scrambling, swimming, climbing or kayak anchors. But looks incredible, I’ll upload some photos.

Note: I am a gringo on vacation. I couldn’t find any information about bouldering here. I saw some rock on Google maps before arriving and brought shoes and a slider pad along. (I did see some rusty bolts at the point, so there are people climbing the area.) If anyone has any local info let me know. Names should be considered placeholders - and I will update with any real info

I’m not sure what the ethic is in the area for cleaning and establishing and so left the boulders alone for the most part. There will be choss on some.
