Description

Takht e Sulaiman hill, at an elevation of 6000ft, is the most imposing object in Srinagar. The hillock gives a panoramic view of the valley and is visible from most places in Kashmir. The summit is crowned with a hindu temple and its northern slopes are covered in dense forest.

Getting There

The trail starts from UNO office at Sonwar and then after few 100m, there are steps which leads to the top. Just near the first hut, take a right turn and there will a lonely tree. The routes are on the left just before the tree.
