Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This less frequented side of Screamer Rocks features a handful of obscure routes including Inversion Table (5.6), Singletrack (5.9) and Perpetuating Unnecessary Violence (5.11+ TR).

Getting There

Hike west from the parking lot along the Split Rock nature trail, where it kinks to cross a (usually dry) wash, head through the low point in the ridge crest and then aim for the north end of the formation.
