North facing and south facing sides of the canyon, with upper slopes that catch snow. Permit required to camp.

Getting There Suggest change

Very close to Lake McDonald Lodge and the plowed parking. The trail is likely to be good to the lakes, and beyond that there are likely to be climber's tracks.
