Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

No fees. Not crowded. Established trail by locals. Parking just outside of NPS boundary.

Getting There

Navigate to Tortoise Rock Casino and follow Adobe Road until you see a gate. Park on the right hand side of the road. Trail will follow this road and you will see the NPS boundary post.
