Description Suggest change

The land between Cobalt and the Great Hill view point is littered with boulders. Within a mile of the ridge to the road there are a few boulders and walls. The area is hard to access as the easiest way is to scramble from the base of the hill to reach the boulders. The land is steep and there are no trails. Some of the boulders I saw did have great landings. Although you can reach the boulders from the East side trail this is a longer route that needs more bushwhacking in summer seasons.

Getting There Suggest change

Go to the intersection of Depot Hill Rd and Great Hill Pond Rd and park at where the road forks. From there you should see a large scramble field while facing the hill. Go straight up for 5 minutes until you see your first boulder. Afterwards continue up and to the left. You should see that wall of the great hill view point. The land is steep but you will see boulders as you ascend to the right/east of the hill.
