Description Suggest change

Mexican Mountain is the huge butte at the end of the road. It looms above everything else in the area. The summit cliffs are big beautiful Wingate with a formidable approach.

Getting There Suggest change

From the end of the Mexican Mountain road, hike about a mile to the San Rafael river. Ford this, which could be problematic during runoff season.
