Description Suggest change

Pomani is a granite tower that rises out of the altiplano about 80 kilometers to the south of La Paz/El Alto, a short 15-minute drive from national route 1. It takes about two hours to drive to Pomani from La Paz. The crag consists of about 65 one to three pitch fully bolted sport climbs and there is considerable potential for additional route development. Routes range from less than vertical slab climbs to steeper technical face climbing. Camping is possible at the base of tower, but the village of Pomani offers virtually no services. An online topo can be found here: bloqueando.com/formularios/

Getting There Suggest change

Heading south on route 1 from El Alto, turn right at the village of Ayo Ayo and drive west toward the obvious red rock tower on gravel roads for about 15 minutes.
