Description

This new addition to the Canopy Crag group adds three fun moderate routes in that have something to offer for everyone, especially newer lead climbers. All routes are equipped with stainless steel fixed carabiners at the anchors, and can be easily accessed from the top for top roping.

The routes here collect a fair bit of pine needles, but otherwise dry decently fast. The rock is of similar quality to the other Canopy walls, with grippy, textured, granitic features and surprising pockets.

Getting There

On the far right of the main Canopy Crag wall find the base of the gully that takes you to the top of the wall. From there, descend the short slope to the base of the Family Wall.

Additionally, go up the aforementioned gully and walk through the trees to find the top area where the anchors can be easily reached.
