Description

The tallest peak within "South West BC" at 2968m. Has glaciers on the north and east sides. Theres a variety of rock types and qualities in the area, but a lot of it seems to be quite loose. The rock on Skihist is a unique orange with prominent white veins of calcite.

Getting There

Access is notoriously challenging. Usually done from Kwoiek Creek FSR, this road is regularly has landslides that block vehicle access. Beyond this expect to deal with FSRs overgrown with alders, river crossings and bushwhacking.
