Description
Getting There
The Fang sits next to the Tooth in Pineapple Basin. To access it, park at Alpental and the Snow Lake Trailhead. Hike the summer trail to the Source Lake/Snow Lake junction and take the Source Lake (left) fork. The summer trail fades into a climber's path in the talus field above the Source Lake. Cross the talus field (where you actually lose 50-80ft of elevation crossing it) looking for cairns and a more well-established climbers' path on the other side. Follow the climber's path up and into Pineapple Basin. The Fang and its primary route, the Edge of Time sit on the East Face, which is easily visible once in Pineapple Basin and is the peak just to the lookers right (north) of the Tooth
