Description

A green stone boulder in Quarry Park South over looking Moores Creek about 200 yds from the parking lot next to the baseball field.

Be Aware of Loose Rock.

There still needs to be more cleaning done, but there is also opportunities for FA's and variations.

I'm sharing this before all the lines have been climbed in the hope that the possibility of FA's will inspire others to help clean the rock. There is no reason to keep this climbable rock within the city of Charlottesville a secret!

Getting There

Park at the parking lot next to the baseball field, walk over the wide wooden pedestrian bridge and up a slight hill. The path will then split in two, go right. Walk down the trail ~100 yards where there will be a pretty visible off shoot to the right, go down the off shoot ~15 yds. A even less trodden trail will be visible running parallel and down hill 4 yds, to the trial you are on. Cross that trail and the clearing should be visible. once in the clearing standing on top of the boulder, you can go right or left to get to the bottom. A map is soon to come!
