Description Suggest change

Chimney Top has two large rock pillars that are clearly bigger and taller than the rest; this is the more northern of the two. It is also the one that you can access without any exposed climbing. The side of the pillar that faces the trail and rest of the mountain has, in my limited experience, better rock than the very broken and unstable side that faces down into the canyon that splits the pillars. There are nice trees at the top for toprope anchors.

Getting There Suggest change

From the campfire opening at the top of the footpath there is a small, short trail that leads to a sandy access scramble on the north side of the pillar system. You can also take a few 4th-5.easy ways to the top of the pillar.
