Description Suggest change

Panguitch is a somewhat sleepy town located in southwest Utah. The summer months bring hordes of tourist in the down town area. Most are there to ride ATV's or fish and do the National Park circuit. There are many motel options here (avoid the Adobe Motel). There are a few dining options as well, I am hesitant to list any restaurant names as they seem to change every few years. The smokehouse is mediocre at best with the better option across the street. This is a good place to stock up if you're heading out to climb or camp in the area as there's not much else around.

Getting There Suggest change

All roads lead to Panguitch. If you're coming from Salt Lake City take I-15 south to Hwy 20. A nice winding road takes you over to Hwy 89, make a right here and drive south to the town. If you're coming from Vegas area take 1-15 north to Hwy 20, then to 89, then onward to Pang Town. Hwy 89 is a nice option if you are not in a hurry coming in from the north or south.
