Description
The Montage Wildlife Management Area is a large, protected, wooded area on the east side of Route 63 in Montague. This area is littered with scattered boulders and ledge and is home to the Hideaway, Happy Valley, Neverland, and the Frost Giants.
The boundaries of this area are jagged and interspersed with private land. Access trails may cross multiple properties. Care and respect should always be shown to all land, and right of way across any of it should be considered a privilege, not a right.
Getting There
There are 3 main parking areas that access this area:
Dry Hill Road: at the top of Dry Hill road is a small few car lot. Please drive slow on Dry Hill, and park responsibly.
Neverland Parking: Neverland has its own lot off of West Chestnut Hill Rd.
Ripley Road: there are a few spots on Ripley Road where the Robert Frost Trail intersects with it.
