Description
The area is pretty secluded, possibly due to the steep uphill approach and creek crossing. The rock is high quality sandstone with several moderate to difficult climbs.
Getting There
From the Roaring Creek Trailhead parking lot (35.4593 -85.1049) to the crags is about 0.65mi at an elevation gain of 390ft. Follow the trail that starts at the parking lot and follows the Roaring Creek until you see the Dinner Branch tributary on the left. Cross the creek to get to the trail (rough old road?) on the other side. There is no bridge, but the creek it's less than knee deep. Follow the steep uphill trail until you see the Bachelor buttress on the right.
