Description

A well kept trail that traverses the base of the north slope of Mount Woodson. A nice escape from the crowds on the main road. This area would be a lot more popular if it wasn't for all of the poison oak. Each step off the main trail is a strategic decision, a dance of avoidance.

Getting There

This will likely change when the new parking lot is built but as of now you can park south west of Archie Moore rd on the 67 just after the bend in the road after a guard rail. A small trail behind the guard rail will connect you to the main fry koegel trail.
