Description Suggest change

A beautiful highball arete located on the right side of the canyon with a lofty approach.
From middle of canyon you can see the large spire of the boulder sticking out with a wide crack running down it's right side.

Getting There Suggest change

Use attached images as a reference for getting through the scree and bush on the way to this boulder.

After following the directions to get to the prior “Right Fork” area, continue slightly uphill and left at the fork. Continue along the trail, head slightly downhill and right into the tree line, and take another right to squeeze between a slabby cracked boulder (left) and a tree (right).

From here you should reach a creek (or a small wash if it is dry, shown in the photos) where Water Colors lies upstream to your left. After crossing you will go up above the tree line again through a chossy trail with lots of scree (this view with a drawn path is also in the photos). Go to the right and bushwhack a bit through very tight bushy trails with those red/copper bushes and go downhill to crawl beneath a large wide and flat boulder (this view is also in the photos). This will open up the alcove with Gunga Galunga.
