Description Suggest change

A small territorial park between Enterprise and Fort Providence on your way to Yellowknife. In the summer, it's one of the Territory's more developed parks, with a lot of well-maintained campsites. In the winter, you'll have it and its few ice routes all to yourself. Some years (not every year), late in the season, Lady Evelyn Falls freezes for a short climb. Across the river from the viewing platform are a few other short climbs. Accessing them is...challenging. Oddly, they melt out late in the season as the falls and river completely freeze over. Either way, if you want to climb them, you'll want to bring a canoe. The rock isn't climbable - just a crumbly, dirty scramble. Would you drive here just for these climbs? No. But they're on the way on a stretch of highway so monotonous it seems procedurally generated. Take a nice break.

Getting There Suggest change
