Description

An area for the ice climbs found along the Kootenay FSR east of Canal Flats. The major attraction here is the impressive Gibraltar Wall, a mini "Weeping Wall" of the Southern Rockies.

Getting There

Drive into Canal Flats and take the FSR out east, passing various ice climbs on your left about 20km in. Gibraltar wall is 26.6km from the center of Canal Flats (and the area map here is centered exactly on it)
