Description Suggest change

The place is a refuge that is inside a natural park surrounded by rocks. Currently there are 6 open climbing sectors with sports routes of different grades ranging from 5.10 (6a) to 5.13 (8c). The place is very beautiful, with incredible views of the Chelenko Lake, the Ibañez River and the Andes mountain range. There is also a campsite with shower and excellent compost toilets level a fire place where to cook and have chill. The routes are very close to the camping area (5 min walking) and each sector is different, it has its own climbing style, mostly face and overhang climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

To get there you basically have to first get to Puerto Ingeniero Ibañez, the closest town. From there take the route in the direction of "El Salto" (an impressive iconic waterfall in the area) and continue in that direction to the Levican Peninsula for about 2.2 Kg more where you will come across an iron gate on the right hand side with a sign from the Refuge "Casa Piedra, climbing camping" from there enter and continue along the internal path 1.2kg until you reach the entrance of the camping Refuge where you will see the routes as they are distributed through the park near each other.
