Description Suggest change

The climbing here is located in an old, inactive marble quarry adjacent to the lower Loch Raven Dam. The rock type varies from very dense quartz monzonite to softer greywacke sandstone.

Getting There Suggest change

This area is roadside, so it is quite easy to access. There are multiple ways to get to the area depending on where you are coming from. Once you are on Loch Raven Drive, head towards the lower of the two dams. There is a large shoulder to park on near the quarry. The quartz monzonite outcrop (where The Raven is located) is on the west end of the quarry nearest to the dam. Dirt Don't Hurt is on the east end of the quarry and easily visible from the road.
