Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. This page also shares closures and warnings due to current fires, smoke, etc.
Description
The boulder field to the left of Lower Yosemite Falls. Tons of great unexplored spots. If you come here brushing off the holds will help as this area is not often traversed yet and holds could be mossy or lichen covered. Thank you! I have added quite a few problems featured in an old guidebook along with the ones I cleaned off and put up already. Feel free to find your own boulders and lines and put t hem up here. (Adding pictures helps tremendously as well!)
PLEASE: If you find any of these problems or boulders in this area in another guidebook or posted somewhere else, please contact me so I can make changes to the page. When I explored the area, the only sign of climbing was chalk remnants on two large boulders featured in a guide from 2007. The rest of the boulders looked fully untouched. (Even a boulder that I put up on this page that was in a guidebook was fully overgrown and looked like it hadn't been touched in years. I apologize if any problems here have already been documented and climbed.)

Getting There
Park in the same place you would for Lower Yosemite Falls. If you walk towards Lower Falls and take a left on the dirt path. The boulder field is quite obvious. If you walk towards Swan Slab from the lower falls you will run into a few of the boulders.
See picture below for help with orienting yourself in the right direction. The boulder in the picture is the farthest away from the falls in the cluster, so walk from there towards the falls and the rest of the boulders will be much closer to the lower falls bridge.
