Description Suggest change

The harder unsent climbs on the left have been around for decades. They - allegedly - go at around 5.13 (left) and 5.12 (right). Then on the right of the Quarry there are the easy climbs on the lower bench and some fun moderate climbs on the upper bench. The lower section is perfect for beginner lead climbs; or walk around and set up some top ropes.

Be cautious using this crag in the early spring. It is at the base of a ~2,500ft gully and spring avalanches have come all the way to the bottom before. Check the snow patches up high by driving an extra 300m down the highway after the pullout to see the whole northwest face of Sentry. The gully has not been known to provide rockfall hazard in the summertime.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Slabs, hike another 500m uphill (climbers right) through a dry creek bed until you reach the base of the gully. To access the left two unknown climbs and the lower bench, head straight to the base of the gully. To access the climbs on the upper ledge (Slab, Friction, Pinnacle, and Pillory), head right through the trees before the base of the gully and there is a single track trail that takes you to the ledge.
