Description

A nice shady wall with mostly vertical climbing. It seems less busy than other areas, but still quality and unique climbing with the occasional tufa. Climbs here tend to be just shy of 40m, although there are a few 50+m routes. Easily combined with Pared Blanca.

Getting There

Approach from either the reservoir or town. When coming from the reservoir, walk along the river passing the metal bridge to Chorreras. Eventually you'll reach a solid wooden bridge missing some sections. When coming from town, walk into the canyon at the overlook just pass El Altico and go around the hairpin in the river, before dropping down to a suspension bridge (can't miss it!). Cross this bridge, walk down, cross another suspension bridge, and walk along the cliffs until you arrive at the wooden bridge missing some small sections.

Cross the wooden bridge, hiking uphill to the Pared Blanca Sector. At the base of the wall, there should be Bender from Futurama tagged on a boulder... Traverse right onto a thin ledge. Welcome to Monte!
