This remote canyon is located about four hours drive west of Lake Natron. While there is a lot of rock here up to 200+ feet high, the best quality stone is a quartzite band that is located at ground level on the right (northeast) end of the escarpment.
It is possible to camp under the trees within about 150 meters of the cliff. Coordinates for the camping spot are -2.608696, 35.570312.
