Description

The Bridge Boulder offers some fun climbs mostly with good landings. This boulder area was spotted by Matt King and was cleaned up during one of the pre-Gathering trail days.

On the initial day of climbing during a Gathering some 25-35 climbers sat around on the small hump nearby watching eachother punt, figure out beta for their body, and send. Kevin Diaz defintiely led the charge making it to the top of most of these problems first amongst the chaos. Some starting holds snapped and others repeated the slightly changed climbs - now the holds seem to have settled in. Some of the harder lines in the cave offer more cranking and slap opportunity for pure bouldering types.

Shaded all day and just a short walk east from the frontside parking lot, this is a great place to bring 2-4 pads and a big group of people.

Getting There

Park at the frontside parking lot and head east along the southside trail. Right after you cross a wooden bridge you should notice a 10' boulder with a east-facing slightly overhung wall that runs north south with a boulder cave on the far side. This is the Bridge Bouldering area and although they are not all that tall or hard, they are tricky enought to drive you crazy.
