Description

This is a cool zone that features black granite friction routes to trad hand cracks in a quiet forested area. The crags face south but are in the trees so belays and much of the routes are shaded. The Verghellu area has five sectors: secteur de guache, secteur central, secteur de droite, secteur trad de droite and secteur trad de gauche.

Getting There

Take D723 off of the T20 for approximately 1km. Parking spots are very limited on this narrow one lane road. Find a spot where you can park mostly off the road. The dark granite slabs just of the road to the right are your indication that you have found this magical spot.
