Description

A single boulder which strangely sits on top of the Azure Mountain summit. Big enough for multiple routes, it's a long way to carry crash pads, but an interesting location to boulder at.

Whiteface Mountain (Auto road side) is visible on clear days when looking left from summit ... the distant "High Peaks" can seen indistinctly looking straight ... they're about 50 miles away ...

Getting There

Take DEC trail from the parking lot to the summit, probably takes 30-40 minutes when carrying equipment. The one mile trail is short, steep, and eroded in places, you'll be sweating at the top.
