Description Suggest change

Sandstone dome/ towers near Page , AZ. The rock is excellent white( with a greenish tint) Navaho sandstone. It is not sandy . It shows bedding planes in relief and has numerous intrusions of harder brown sandstone. This makes steeper face climbing and mantles possible. Bring a soft bristle brush to brush sand off friction holds and the soles of your friction shoes. This is a great place to camp and shoot guns. Remember that there are popular jeep trails down in those canyons and they probably have guns too.

Getting There Suggest change

The top 2/3 of towers is visible from highway 89. Hells Bells is located in AZ just south of the Utah line.
