Description Suggest change

Sharp overhanging granite ledge with a few established problems and potential for a few more. The rock has great friction, but it will tear up your hands and shoes a bit.

Getting There Suggest change

UPDATED FALL '24

It's close to Route 302 in Windham, just a bit west of Falmouth and a bit north of Portland.

Park at the East Windham Conservation Area. Walk up the trail and then after about 100 yards where it gets close to the power line take the snowmobile trail into the power line and then to the right (follow snowmobile signs, it will be basically all uphill on the way there). After about 3/4 of a mile watch for the boulder on the right when you're a little bit in the woods (should be easier to see when leaves are down). This new trail is much better and faster than the old rutted up power line only trail.
